The materials employed in the construction of the expansion joints are according to the following standards:

  • UNI
  • AFNOR
  • DIN
  • ASTM
  • ASME Section II.

Bellows design

The bellows used in the expansion joints shown in the technical sheets of the catalogue, have been designed by calculation formulas that are the result of many years researches.
These calculations were confirmed by many different test, i.e.: burst, fatigue life, squirm, strain analysis, etc. performed in our laboratory.
Design stresses are according to ASME Section
VIII Div 1.

Besides:
To guarantee the accuracy of the date, the bellows stress analysis was performed by computer.
We daily design special bellows and expansion joints according to Customers' specifications.
